Xona announced the Pulsar Verified program on July 9, a certification scheme for equipment compatible with its low-Earth orbit precision positioning constellation. Partners including Trimble, Septentrio, STMicroelectronics, Safran, StarNav, and Keysight can now validate their receivers and simulators against Pulsar's signals. The program matters because, as Xona CEO Brian Manning noted, satellites alone are pointless without user equipment that can actually receive and use the service.
Xona launched its first satellite, Pulsar-0, in June 2025 and conducted over 350 transmission passes across four continents while collecting 22 terabytes of data. GNSS simulators from Safran and Keysight have already achieved verification, and compatible receiver devices are beginning to ship. Once six additional satellites reach orbit later this year, Xona plans to move into beta-level testing, eventually offering centimeter-level precision with signals roughly 100 times stronger than GPS, plus resistance to spoofing and jamming.
