Plan ahead

Field-day satellite planner

See every amateur satellite that will pass over your site during your event window — pick a weekend or a custom date range, filter to the bands you'll actually bring, and print a field guide with rise/set times, where to point, the frequency plan, and access tones.

Reading a pass

AOS — the satellite rises above your minimum elevation. Pre-aim your antenna at this compass bearing.

MAX — highest point in the sky. Best signal.

LOS — drops below minimum elevation. Sign off.

Band filter

Select only the bands your equipment covers. The plan includes a satellite only when both its uplink and downlink are in your selected bands — so you never have to swap gear mid-event.
